The Santa Claus Parks and Recreation Board are in charge of Yellig Park and
the Santa Claus Community Center.

COMMUNITY CENTER FEES:
1. Large Room Rental, $150.00
2. Clean-Up Fee, $100.00
3. Kitchen Facility Use, $75.00
4. Seniors Meeting with Dinner, $50.00 per month
5. Seniors Meal program $50.00 per month (effective January 1, 2008)
YELLIG PARK FEES:
1. Use of lights for use other than for organized sports authorized to use
Yellig Park by the Parks and Recreation Department (2 hours limit), $25.00
2. User Fees for organized sports authorized to use Yellig Park by the
Parks and Recreation Board, $10.00 per player per sport per year.
3. All fees and charges for concession sold on properties under the
governance of the Parks and Recreation Board may be established and altered by
the Parks and Recreation Board at their discretion.
YELLIG PARK RULES:
1. Park hours are from sunrise to sunset, unless permission
from the Parks Department. No person shall sell, or offer for sale any
alcohol or controlled substances on park property. No glass containers of
any type are allowed on park property.
2. Motor vehicles must be properly parked in designated parking areas
only. Motor vehicles shall not be parked as to block vehicle, pedestrian
or emergency access to the park, parked in grassed areas, in athletic area or
other posted areas, or left overnight. Upon authorization from an agent of
the Board, violators may be cited and/or towed away at the vehicle owner's
expense.
3. Bicycles are only allowed in designated areas on park property.
Motorized scooters and mopeds are only allowed on the parking lots on park
property. Roller blades, skateboards and motorized scooters are not
allowed on park property.
4. There shall be no selling of any products or goods or soliciting on
park property without the written permission of the Parks Department.
5. Pet owners are responsible for the removal of all fecal remains.
6. No person shall use obscene, profane, or abusive language while at the
park. No person shall engage in disruptive, destructive, hazardous,
vulgar, obscene or indecent conduct while at the park. No person shall
engage in illegal conduct while at the park. Illegal conduct shall be
reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
7. Overnight camping is not allowed at the park. This includes the
overnight parking of recreational vehicles, and maintenance equipment without
prior written permission of the Parks Department. Campfires are not
allowed on park property.
8. Trash is to be placed in containers provided throughout the park.
Teams are expected to pick up litter on the fields and around bleacher and
dugout areas after each game and practice.
9. Fields prepared for play are not to be entered or used for play be
anyone except the scheduled user. No adjustments to the field may be made
unless permission is given by the Parks Department.
10. Tossing the ball and hitting the ball into the ball field fences are
not allowed.
11. No person shall remain at the park who does not abide by these rules,
which have been adopted by the Town of Santa Claus, through the Santa Claus Park
and Recreation Department, for the preservation of good order and the protection
of park property. No person shall remain at the park who does not abide by
the instructions and directions of duly authorized employees or agents of the
Board, in the lawful performance of their duties. Any person directed
by an employee or agent of the Board to leave the park, shall do so promptly and
peacefully. At the discretion of duly authorized employees or agents of
the Board, persons may be banned from the park.
12. For the purpose of the enforcement of these rules, the Santa Claus
Park and Recreation Board hereby appoint Park Department employees,
baseball/softball, soccer and youth football league supervisors and/or league officers and/or
the Santa Claus Police Department.
